Along with Auto Doors, we also maintain, repair and install automatic gates and barriers. As with all our work we take pride in the smooth, safe running of all gates and barriers that we work on. All work is completed in accordance with the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and BS EN 12453:2001.

Gates and barriers are often a primary form of security to a property and business and the correct operation of these gates is vital to performing that role. Our maintenance plans help to keep these gates operating as smoothly as possible minimising wear on components otherwise overlooked. Our plans are reflective not only the legally recommended 6 month intervals but also the individual gates usage and traffic flow to ensure no gate is overworked between maintenance intervals.

Gates and barriers pose higher risk to safety due to the forces that the gates must operate to. This is why at Soteria we perform rigorous safety and functional testing. Ensuring that any additional safety devices including any force limitation devices are installed and working correctly. Our report will comprise of all of these factors and given to the customer in the form of a risk assessment which will outline our findings and recommendations perfect any issues we may come across.
